How Can I Use My Nokia E71 Front Camera

Leutnant Bertram

Ab wann kann man sich eigentlich als Experte der Exilliteratur bezeichnen? Bin ich schon sleeps, komme ich erst noch hin? Bodo Uhse jetzt und sein Leutnant Bertram . Ich will den Author dieser year Body not imagine in detail, his life was in many ways too complex to go into here in a few sentences play (NSDAP member of the left wing, then a communist, stateless persons in Paris, political commissar in the Thälmann Brigade in Spain, in exile in Mexico, cultural policy Executive in the GDR and then an early death) in the Jungle World there is an informative short biography.

Uhse wrote this novel in the years bent before the Second World War and reflected hereby one hand, personal experience but on the other hand, probably needs the Communist Party in relation to the "continuous propaganda regarding the alleged existence" better Germany "of which we in exile claimed that hourly wage war against Hitler's shame "(see link above). There were allowed to" exclusively well-grown and active communist heroes who manage to drag the true German patriots under the Nazis on the right side "(Ibid) . This assessment, although probably not incorrect - according to the introduction to the novel convince Uhse for his "strong advocacy" - seems to me also to briefly gripped and shortening

But back to the beginning Lieutenant Bertram tells the story of a group of.. fleeing communist resistance fighters who try to act only in Germany, then to Spain and continue the fight against fascism in the international brigades. On the other side there are some air force officers, more or less convinced Nazis or patriots who train only in Germany, then as the Condor Legion in Spain on Franco's side to intervene and to include in the attack Guernica considerably contributed.

The lesson of the novel is obvious in some respects, the communists and resistance fighters are the good, the bad, the Air Force officers. This can be difficult to accuse Uhse, however, because at this date and in respect of these communists, neither of which Stalin still driven by the GDR up to that time and greater evil had been, so easy is right. The Legion Condor flew the attack on Guernica, the English Republicans were indeed chaotic, but morally in the right and the persecution in Germany, so in that respect, the good guys. They may be - of course - not always good people, but they are for the good. Even if a set of strict partisanship of the author I normally irretrievably muster against this are the self - criticism wooden stock characters Uhse in this sense, difficult - at times, especially at the beginning. He wrote this book not so after the war, but in some ways as a part of it.

The book shines as perhaps less for its intellectual depth as a tension, as obtained by the feeling of the reader a true insight into the life time of the resistance fighters but also the Nazis. What disappointed or not convinced is the simplification that no one seems truly national socialist, why the success of this movement, when almost all of its members in fact are really only true patriots or careerists? What confused me that the only really homosexualization ideologically convinced Nazis, barely intelligible perception image of the left exile community in general was as it seems (see here ). A rewarding, a nice book for all the criticism.
